Attention students with Mac latops...jGRASP is currently NOT working!!

Here is what you need to do:

1. Download the zip version of jGRASP by clicking HERE

2. If the jgrasp206_17b.zip file does not automatically turn into the jgrasp folder in your Downloads folder, then double-click the jgrasp206_17b.zip file

3. Open the jgrasp206_17b folder and then Move the jgrasp folder to the Desktop.

4. Navigate to the bin folder by going to Desktop -> jgrasp -> bin

5. Right click or hold the control key and click the jgrasp.command file

6. Select "Open" and then select "Open" on the warning dialog box

7. After this is done the first time, you should should be able to just double-click the jgrasp.command file from now on to run jGRASP

 

 

 

Note: if you get a permission error after doing the above steps do this:

Open spotlight (the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of your screen

type: terminal in the window and hit enter

copy and paste this command into the terminal window: cd ~/Desktop/jgrasp and hit enter

copy and paste this command into the terminal window: chmod -R 777 jgrasp and hit enter

Go back to step 5 up above
